In the shop: A look inside

The Eleven team went into the shop to take a look at how sticks go from being a stack of boards into beautiful, handcrafted custom sticks and blades. Take a look inside the shop with us!


The beginnings of the hockey stick shaft are made with Aspen, Ash or Birch wood. After the shaft is complete, blades are attached using one of two types of glue.


Sticks are sent to a special sanding machine that takes only six seconds to refine the stick to its proper thickness.


Here's a look at some sticks being prepped for some of the finishing touches.
